Nick recently graduated from Rootstown High School and Maplewood Career Center. He faithfully attended Rootstown Church of Hope and accepted Jesus as his Savior as a young man. In his short life he touched many lives. Nick was big hearted, giving, loving, and willing to lend a hand at a moment’s notice, especially for Grandma Peg. He also had a great sense of humor and loved to laugh with his friends.
Nick loved sports. He played Hot Stove Baseball as a kid and was proud of bowling a 300 while on the Rootstown High School Bowling Team. He also played trombone in the marching band and enjoyed online gaming.
Nick liked to go to car shows with his father, and was following in his dad’s trade of being a mechanic. They also mowed lawns as a team during the warm months. Nick was looking forward to a new job at a Christian camp this summer.
Nick is survived by his loving family, including his parents: Wendall and Penny (Harman) Neiswanger, his brother Cody, his sister Amiah, as well as aunts and uncles: Cindy Neiswanger, Greg (Sheri) Neiswanger, Darren (Linda) Neiswanger, Linda (Gerald) Gordner, and Sharon (Larry) Jaffett, and many cousins.
