Nancy A. Rogers

Nancy was born October 25, 1946 and was lovingly chosen for adoption by Margaret & John Tennant formerly of Rootstown. A lifelong resident of Portage County, growing up in Rootstown, Nancy eventually settled in Ravenna for the remainder of her very full life.

Nancy was a proud graduate and alumni of Rootstown Local Schools, always doing what she could to stay in touch with her fellow classmates and friends. After completing school, she had moved on to spend many years working for Oak Rubber to help provide for her family.

It is in her hometown where she met the boy next store, Ronnie Rogers, who would become her beloved husband, who she spent 55 devoted and loving years with. Together they enjoyed fishing, bird watching, spending long warm evenings in their backyard and garden, and front porch sitting.

Nancy was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, friend and neighbor. Loved and missed by many, Nancy is survived in death by her husband Ronnie Rogers; son Brian (Stacey) Rogers; grandchildren Kalie (Brandon) Fish, and Kaitlyn Rogers; great grandson Levi Fish; and many wonderful sister in-laws that Nancy cherished deeply.

Preceded in death by her parents and granddaughter Erika Rogers.

The family would like to thank the staff at Summa Health System in Akron for the quality care and compassion they provided to Nancy throughout her stay at the facility.
