Matthew John Riemenschneider

Matthew enjoyed fishing, hunting, tending to his garden and considered his friends to be his family. He loved his video games, working on cars, and listening to his favorite music.

Matt was loved by so many people and will be remembered as a free spirit who was a sweet and caring person. He is survived by his mother Beverly Matthews, his father Brian (Mary) Riemenschneider, his sisters Cybill (Allen) Hamilton, Amanda (Matt) Wiedlund, his brothers Nathan Matthews, Dustin and Brandon Hamilton. Matt’s memory will also be cherished by his grandparents John and Kay Matthews, “second mom” Tammy Hamilton, his niece Zoey, nephew Nick, and step-siblings Kennedy and Ian, as well as many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins. Matt cared deeply for all of us, as we did him.

Matthew was preceded in death by his grandparents: Rose and Paul Riemenschneider and Bonnie Dietrich.

Friends will be received Friday, October 21, 2016, from 4:00 – 6:00 PM at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna, with a funeral service following at 6:00 PM, celebrated by Kevin O’Brien.
