She was born October 15, 1931, in Harlingen, Texas, to parents Roy Lane and Opal (Alford) Williams. She was affectionately known as “Sue” to her family and friends. Sue graduated high school early and earned a Bachelor’s Degree from TCU.
She married her beloved husband Charlie on March 29, 1956. They made their home in Randolph and were members of the Randolph United Methodist Church. Sue worked for several years at Wise Chevrolet and volunteered at Robinson Memorial Hospital. She enjoyed playing cards and cooking.
Sue is survived by her husband Charlie Wise, her son Steven Lane Wise, along with many loving nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother and sister-in-law WB “Bob” (Jeannette) Williams.
Graveside services will be officiated by Reverend James Lang on Thursday, April 20, 2023, at 1:30 PM at Hillside Cemetery in Randolph.
