Martha L. Chandler

Marti was born in Ravenna, Ohio on May 2, 1955 to parents Lawrence and Nora (Tinnel) Loomis. She started working at the Streetsboro K-Mart when it first opened and retired after 28 years of service. She enjoyed worshiping at many local churches, especially Turning Point Baptist Church. Marti enjoyed reading, traveling and dining at different restaurants. She loved pizza and Coca-Cola. Most important to her was time spent with her grandchildren.

Marti is survived by her children Melissa (Tommy) Staggs and Jennifer (Joey Bennett) Chandler. Also surviving are Marti’s grandchildren Sara & Emilee Chandler and Gracie, Kylee & Brayden Staggs.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband John R. Chandler.

Friends will be received at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St, Ravenna, on Thursday, April 22, 2021 from 5pm until the funeral service, officiated by Pastor Ron Lanham, beginning at 6pm . Inurnment with her husband at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery will be held at a later date.
