She was born in Alliance, Ohio on November 7, 2006 to Corey Boykin and Nicole Nutter. Even though her life was short, Mackenzie made a large impact on those who knew her. She loved animals and babies. Mackenzie was an assertive young lady and even during her care was known to instruct the nurses. She will be sadly missed by everyone she touched.
Mackenzie is survived by her parents, her twin brother, Kemory and her sister, Kalaina. She also leaves her brothers: Tré Cline and Keeyn Crubaugh. Also surviving are her grandparents: Cindy Simons, Gary Nutter, and Suzanne Shriver. Mackenzie also leaves many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Funeral services will take place at on Thursday, May 12, 2011 at 12:00P.M. at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna with Pastor Aaron Hill of the Tabernacle Baptist Church of Alliance officiating. Interment will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery.
The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the doctors, nurses and staff of 5600 Akron Children’s Hospital for their kind care and compassion and a special “thank you” to Dr. Erin Cockrell for her special care and attention.
