Jim L. Thompson

Jimmy was born to Vernon Clare Thompson and Laverne Estelle Willard on February 24, 1951 in East Liverpool, Ohio and was raised primarily in Brimfield, Ohio and a longtime resident of the Kent/Ravenna area. He enjoyed his game shows and watching the Indians and the Browns. He was also involved in many activities at the nursing home including Bingo and poker. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served in the Vietnam War. He retired from Trexler Rubber in Ravenna.

He is survived by his sisters Linda Kaehne & Mary (Larry) Robbins of Portage County, Jeanette Reynolds of East Liverpool and brother William Thompson of Akron. His three children Joshua, Jeremy (Amber) & Jonelle (Amanda) Thompson and 5 beautiful grandchildren: Sierra Chapman, Caitlyn, Jayden, Audrianna & Brianna Thompson along with countless nieces and nephews.

His wife of 46 years, Jacquelyn Thompson, and siblings Theodore (Ted) Thompson, Robert (Bob) Thompson & Vernon (Sonny) Thompson preceded him in death.

Jimmy will be cremated and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
