Helen Burgess Jarvis

She was born June 13, 1937, in Ravenna, Ohio, a daughter of the late Cecil and Mildred (Riffle) Braham. Helen worked as a home health aide and was a member of the Liberty Bible Church in Atwater.

She is survived by her son Robert and his wife Dianne Burgess of Randolph, her daughter Sherry (nee Burgess) and her husband Larry Turner of Warren, as well as her grandchildren: Heather Kazlman, Melinda Kazlman, Sandra (Jason) Stotler, and Rebecca (Matthew) Wise, her 9 great-grandchildren, her brother William (Patricia) Braham of Florida, and many loving nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Helen was preceded in death by her brother Harold Braham, and sisters Shirley Brown and Betty Nelson.

Friends will be received Friday, July 20, 2012, from 12:00 – 1:00 PM at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna, with the funeral service following at 1:00 PM officiated by her son, Pastor Robert Burgess. Interment will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in Ravenna.
