Duane was born in Lyons, New York on March 12, 1961 to parents Donald and Norma (Blondale) Garrett. Duane was retired after a long career working for the U.S. Postal Service.
He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a big fan of WWE Wrestling. Duane liked camping with his family and friends and loved his family and grandchildren.
Duane is survived by his children Nicholas “Nick” Garrett, Timothy Garrett and Rebecca “Becky” Garrett. He is also survived by his five grandchildren, one great-grandchild “on the way”, and his sister Valerie (Garth) Marburger.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Danny Blondale.
Cremation is being honored and a Celebration of his Life will be held at a later date.
