Diane Marie Spencer

She was born in Akron, Ohio on November 18, 1953. Daughter to David and Rosalie (Callari) Rathbun who preceded her in death. A 1972 graduate from Field HS and attended Kent State. A resident of Randolph, Ohio for over 25 years and married at the St. Joseph Church on June 21, 1980 to her soul mate and love of her life.

Diane held a Cosmetology managers license, Health Promotion Specialist at YWCA, Office Manager, Certified Positive Dog Trainer, where her beloved Ollie were a Therapy team. She loved to read, a student of A Course in Miracles, and was a Reiki Master and Hypnotherapist. Diane loved to travel to her favorite places of Acadia, Outer Banks, and Cooks Forest where taking long walks on beaches and trails were so enjoyable to her. She loved Life, all her pets and animals, her family and friends, and always had a kind loving word to everyone she met.

She is survived by her loving husband Michael of 41 years and daughters Melissa Gallardo (Mike) and Michele L. Spencer. She also leaves her grandchildren Mikhayla Sadlowski (Johnathan), Alan Ott (Sammie Joe), Gretchen Gallardo, Stephanie Gallardo and great-grandchildren Gio and Frankie Sadlowski. Left also to cherish her memory is her sister Debbie Kittinger (Rathbun), mother-in law Jean E. Spencer, sisters-in-laws Lynda Morris (Spencer), Chris Valeski (Mark) and brothers-in-laws Curt Neal and Richard Spencer (Harita).

Diane’s family will receive friends to celebrate her life on Friday, April 8, 2022 at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna, from 4pm to 6pm with a memorial service, officiated by Chaplain Bill Eshelman beginning at 6pm.
