She was born June 21, 1944, in Branchland, West Virginia, to parents Linzy and Martha (Isaac) Porter.
Lucille was full of life and loved fishing, often spending days out fishing. She loved to teach her “little ones” how to fish. She was a very loving “Aunt Cil” to all her family. Lucille had a heart of gold who loved everyone she ever met and never met a stranger!
Lucille was a lifetime member of the VFW Post 1055 Auxiliary, and also a member of the Ravenna Moose 1234. She loved playing cards, camping, bingo, and just being with people.
Her life was filled with love for others. Lucille gave her heart and soul to Jesus as she was baptized and exclaimed “This is the happiest day of my life!” Her struggle was a tough one, but she fought it to the end with a smile on her face.
Lucille is survived by her daughter Kathy (Elizabeth) Spears, her grandchildren: Jamason Spears-Harris, Maggie and Christian Gruber, Felicia, Gilbert, and Anthony Porter, as well as all of her great-grandchildren. Aunt Cil is also survived by many generations of nieces and nephews, including Barb Watson, who she raised as her own daughter.
Lucille was preceded in death by her husband Lloyd Exline Jr., her granddaughter Kiah Exline, her son Dwayne Porter, her brothers: Sterling, James, Ray, Howard, Freeman, Gilbert, Jerry, Larry, and Harold, her sisters: Addie, Mary, Dolly, Trecia, Sally, and Ruth, as well as her niece Shauna Young and her nephew Justin Durham.
Friends and family will be received Friday, April 16, 2021, from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM with a funeral service officiated by Pastor Lesley Bradley at 12:00 PM at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E.
