Carl C. Logsdon Jr.

He was born January 9, 1948, in Hyndman, Pennsylvania, to parents Beatrice Rosella (Leydig) and Carl C. Logsdon Sr. Carl proudly served his country as a veteran of the US Army.

Carl retired as a machinist with Rotek in Aurora. He enjoyed going to flea markets, bowling, and hunting. Carl was a kind man who was always willing to help others.

Carl is survived by his children: Connie (Bob) Thompson, Sadie Logsdon, Carl (Samantha) Logsdon, and Dana Simmons, as well as his 17 grandchildren, all of his loving great-grandchildren, and his brothers: Dick, Alvin, and John Logsdon.

Carl was preceded in death by his parents, his beloved wife Betty Logsdon, his sister Gloria Ann Barks, and his brothers: Ray, Gary, and Charlie Logsdon.

Friends and family will be received Monday, August 7, 2023, from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna, where Pastor David Ballert will officiate the funeral service at 12:00 PM. Interment will follow at Standing Rock Cemetery in Kent.
