Dear Sandy, Tommy, Kelly and Christina,

Both Haley and I were so deeply saddened to learn of Tom's passing.
We have such fond memories of being your neighbors, on Pittsford Rd. and watching our children grown up together.
Whenever I had an appraisal question for Tom throughout the years, he always took time out of his busy schedule to stop and help me out.  That was Tom though, always there to lend a helping hand to a friend, no matter what.
It was so wonderful getting to see all of you again!!  Krystal especially enjoyed seeing all of the children!

Please stay in touch and if you are ever down our way, we have two spare bedrooms.

Tom and I worked together on many committees at the Raleigh Regional Association of Realtors in the 1990's.  We learned a lot from each other and there was never a dull moment.

The last time I talked to Tom was on Wednesday, March 27, at the Memorial Service for Lanse Houston.  I am devastated to learn of Tom's accident and passing.  

My heart goes out to his family.  

He will always be Tommy Morgan to me, my high school friend. I’m sad to learn of his passing. 

Our deepest condolences to Sandy and all of Tom's family Tom was a great guy we remember fondly the fun we all shared that Christmas vacation in Tortola and the crazy boat ride to St John for lunch Tom was fun to be around and a true friend and mentor to our son,  Chuck, Tom will be remembered with affection for his gift of loyalty Fair Winds and following seas good friend !

So sorry to hear of Toms accident and his passing. Tom has been a part of my career going back 42 years!  I met Tom when he did an appraisal on my grandmothers house in 1977. After I showed an interest in appraising I was hired by Tom and Robert Dodd to work at their new appraisal business.  From there, Tom encouraged me to “see the marketplace” as that would help me with appraising and the rest is history!  Our paths crossed a lot over the years and Curtis and I always enjoyed catching up with Tom at the gym!  He was always interested in updating me on his children and wanting to know what our family was doing. Great appraiser but more importantly a great friend.  He will be greatly missed!

Tom from the earliest stages of my career has been one of my role models. Always quick to aid new realtors or appraisers starting out in their career Tom is the example for all of us for giving back to our profession. My thoughts and prayers are with his family. Our industry has been dealt a heavy blow with his passing.

As a fellow appraiser I valued Tom's experience and integrity troughout  his career.  He was a pioneer in the appraisal profession in the Triangle in the 1980s. He was involved in many improvements to our profession and was diligent to his tasks in business and with friends and family. RIP friend!

Tom was a great friend for many years when I lived in Raleigh. He was a wonderful man and public servant to spearhead the licensing of Appraisers in North Carolina and many other Realtor and Mortgage Lender projects.  Fine citizen and Father.

Tom is survived by his bride of 50 years Sandra Morgan.  He is survived by 3 children, Winston Thomas Morgan, Jr. (Leslie), Kelly Barnes (Ken), and Christina Weaver (Scott) and eight grandchildren, Morgan Barnes, Grace Morgan, Parker Barnes, Emily Ruth Morgan, Walker Barnes, Matthew Weaver, Winston Morgan III, and Emma Weaver. He is also survived by brothers Larry Morgan (Fran), Ricky Morgan, Steve Morgan, and Roger Morgan (Lisa).  He is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Sandra Turnage.
