William Newton Howard Jr.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, June 24th, 2018, at 2:00 pm at Saint Thomas Episcopal Church in Bath, NC. The family will receive friends following the service in the Noe Building and other times at his mother's home.

Busta was born in Greenville, NC, the son of Mary Anne Dallas Howard and the late William N. Howard. He graduated from Hargrave Military Academy and attended East Carolina University. Busta was President of Great Southern Construction Specialties, Inc in Raleigh, NC.

Busta is survived by his mother, Mary Anne Dallas Howard of Bath, NC; sister Victoria Howard Bell and husband Kevin of Zebulon, NC; sister Maria Howard Ore of Edenton, NC; brother-in-law Christopher D. Ore of Kansas City, KS; niece Margaret Jennette Jernigan and husband Dustin of Washington, NC; and nephew William Walker Jennette of Gainesville, GA. Busta is also survived by his faithful lab, Lucy. Busta also leaves behind a tremendous network of other family members, friends, business associates and acquaintances. Always living life to the fullest, Busta never met a stranger nor forgot a face.
