William “Bill” Walker Griffin, 64, of Raleigh, died on September 17, 2019. Bill was an over-the-road contract mail carrier for many years. In his time away from work, he enjoyed sailing, travel, scuba diving, going to the beach, playing tennis and being outdoors. Raising his daughter Kate was the pride and joy of his life. Bill also loved his dogs, having many throughout the years.
Bill is survived by his wife, Candi Pope Griffin; daughter, Kate Griffin; brother, Joseph Griffin and his wife, Jenny; sister, Elizabeth Titus; and his two golden retrievers, Miley and Moose.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 21 at 11:00am at Mitchell Funeral Home, 7209 Glenwood Ave, Raleigh, followed by a time of visitation.
