Robert Michael "Mike" Crozier

Robert Michael “Mike” Crozier, age 39, passed away on Wednesday, April 6, 2022 at UNC Rex Healthcare. Born on May 26, 1982, in White Plains, New York, he was the son of Debra Weiler Crozier and Robert Paul Crozier.

During his childhood and early adolescence, Mike actively participated in many sports, including soccer, basketball, baseball, and rollerblading. His love of sports continued throughout adulthood, including softball and a good round of golf, fishing, and cheering on the NCSU Wolfpack. Mike loved the beach from an early age and grew up spending summers at Emerald Isle with his Nana and Pops. He had a love of sand and saltwater and enjoyed surfing along the beaches of the Carolina coast. Mike loved a good barbecue sandwich, grilling out with friends and family, and listening to the latest country music tunes.

Mike is survived by his son, Preston Michael Crozier; mother, Debra Weiler Crozier; sister Kelly Cherry (Mark) and nephews Wyatt and Weston; his girlfriend, Allison Curran and her son, Dawsen Sharpe; Preston’s mother, Lauren Crozier and her sons, Tanner and Gabriel, whom Mike loved as his own; Uncle and Aunts: Bob and Susie Weiler, Susie Franson, and Pam and Jim Damron; cousins Chris Franson, Andrew (Amy) Weiler and children Elle and Caeden, and Matt (Rachel) Weiler and children Reese and Quinn; and by many more family and friends, including Scott and Nicole Savanapridi and family.

Family will receive friends during a memorial gathering on Sunday, April 10, 2022 from 2-4 pm at Mitchell Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Mike’s memory may be made to Gofund.me at https://gofund.me/bdf0266c for educational assistance and expenses.
