Ralph Eugene Herron

Ralph was a Navy veteran and telecommunications engineer for over 40 years for ITT and Alcatel. He enjoyed fishing, coaching, and watching his children play baseball, softball and basketball.

Ralph is lovingly remembered by his dear wife of 36 years, Carmen Herron; his sons, Terry Herron and his wife Elizabeth, Pedro Balbuena and his wife Christie, and Ramon Sanchez; his daughters, Eva Simpson and her husband Brian, Maria Tejada, and Niorka Tejada. He will also be missed by his beloved grandchildren, Galo, Emilio, and Ayeska Balbuena, Angelica Tejada, Nilka del Rosario, and Breanna Simpson; his brother Danny Herron and his wife Linda; as well as his buddy, Diver.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 2, from 4:00–6:00 pm, at Mitchell Funeral Home, 7209 Glenwood Avenue, Raleigh NC. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, April 3, at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Raleigh Memorial Park.
