On April 2nd, Peter Spencer Andrews, 71, passed away. He was born on August 2, 1945 in Denver, CO, where he grew up. He worked for Amica Insurance for 35 years, managing many offices for them in California, Utah, Maryland and finally Raleigh. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and provider.
Pete is preceded in death by Dianne, his wife of 49 years. Surviving are his two sons Kirk, wife Paula, and Todd, wife Lisa, and his three grandchildren Jessica, David and Nathan.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 15, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at The Wynne Center at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home, 300 St. Mary’s Street, Raleigh, with a reception will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations are requested in his memory to Transitions LifeCare (formerly Hospice of Wake County), 250 Hospice Circle, Raleigh, NC 27607 or your local Hospice organization.
