Mary Ann Driscoll

Mary Ann Rawa Hennick Driscoll of Raleigh, NC, died October 23, 2021 at the age of 84. Born on March 6, 1937 in Erie, PA; she was the daughter of the late John Edward Rawa and Frances Veronica Czupkowski Rawa.

Mary Ann was preceded in death by her husband Daniel John Driscoll who passed away on July 7, 2012.

She is survived by her son, Robert John Hennick of Cayuga, NY; daughter, Kathy Ann Roy of Cary, NC; three stepdaughters, Denise Williams of Cary, NC, Susan Oakley of Henderson, NC, and Diane Mahmoudi of Morgan Hill, CA; a brother, David Rawa of Erie, PA; two grandchildren; five step grandchildren; nephew, Brian; and one great grandson Trey.

Mary Ann graduated from East High School in Erie, PA and Dudley Hall Business Institute in Worcester, MA. She worked in Nosco Plastics, Inc. in Erie, PA and Worcester Polytech College in Worcester, MA.

Mary Ann lived in five states and was a member of various organizations including Beta Sigma Phi, Raleigh Newcomers, and Lake Lynn Seniors. She served on many committees, volunteered for community services, and was active in church functions through the years. Mary Ann’s passion was travel, dancing, reading and gardening.

A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Raphael the Archangel Catholic Church, 5801 Falls of Neuse Road, Raleigh, on Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at 12:00 pm. A graveside service will be held at a later date in Laurel Hill Cemetery, located in Erie, PA.
