Judith “Judy” Lau Joseph, of Raleigh, NC, passed away on November 2, 2011. She was born on March 13, 1939 in York, Pennsylvania to the late Paul and Sara Lau. Judy was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, James Joseph.
Judy taught elementary school, most recently at Rolesville Elementary, retiring in 2004.
Judy enjoyed knitting, reading, and her grandchildren. She was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church.
Judy is survived by a brother, Timothy Lau, wife Karen; two loving daughters: Jayne Pollock and her husband Mark, and Julia Cooper and her husband Thomas; four beloved grandchildren, Matthew and Kevin Pollock, Joseph and Sarah Cooper.
A memorial service will be held at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 7000 Creedmoor Rd, Raleigh on Thursday, November 10th at 11:00 AM. Judy’s family will receive friends following the service.
