Eleanor Margaret Franks

Eleanor Margaret Franks was born on April 1, 1937 and went home to Jesus on December 25, 2016. Eleanor was (and is) a Christian warrior, a wife for 59 years, a mother of 3 children, a beloved sister, and a friend to countless others. Eleanor had an electric personality, a witty infectious sense of humor, and the singing voice of an angel. Eleanor was deeply involved in her church, she taught Bible study, and spoke numerous times at Christian conferences throughout her life. She touched countless lives with her love of and dedication to the Lord. Now she is safely in His arms. Merry Christmas Eleanor, we love you and will miss you!

Eleanor is survived by her husband, Ted Franks and her children, Ted Franks, Jr., Steve Franks, and Linda Kuhns, seven grandchildren and her sisters Jean Della Torre and Nancy Novak.

The celebration service will be held at Providence Baptist Church, 6339 Glenwood Ave, Raleigh, NC 27612 on Friday December 30, 2016. The viewing will take place at 10:00 am and the Celebration Ceremony at 11:00 am. A graveside ceremony will be held at Raleigh Memorial Park, 7501 Glenwood Ave, Raleigh, NC 27612 immediately following.
