Edith Graham Jacobs, 90, passed on March 10, 2016 at the Springmoor Life Care Retirement Community where she resided for the past three years. She dedicated her life to her family, who will miss her and cherish the many wonderful memories.
She is survived by her three daughters, Barbara J. Spurgeon of Ozark Alabama, Jackie J. Murray (Dickie) of Raleigh, NC, and Terri J. Espey (Royce) of Fuquay Varina; four granddaughters, Lisa Monnat (Tony), Natalie McGowan (Mike Frost), Rachel Harrell (Andy), and Crystal Espey; and four great grandchildren, Andrew Monnat, Madeleine Monnat, Lauren Monnat, and Lyla McGowan.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Jacobs; her parents, Clarence H. “Doc” Graham and Allie Graham; and brothers, Paul, Harry, and Jack Graham.
Friends may visit with the family on Monday, March 14, from 10-11 a.m. at Mitchell Funeral Home, 7209 Glenwood Avenue.
Graveside service will be held at Raleigh Memorial Park at 11:00 a.m.
