Dickey Ruffin Martin

Dickey volunteered at the Food Bank of Central and Eastern North Carolina for over 10 years. She enjoyed bird watching, going to the movies and travelling with her family. She worked as a bank teller, cashier, semiconductor processor, teacher, owner of a gas station and a lab tech. She was compassionate and had a wonderful sense of humor.

She is lovingly remembered by her son, Michael Case of Melbourne, FL and daughter, Toni Case of Raleigh, NC along with many nieces and nephews.

Dickey was predeceased by her husbands, Richard Meyers, Dean Case, Ronald McFall and Harry Martin and her two sisters, Jean Wegner and Jane Hartzell.

The funeral service will be held at 7:00 PM on Wednesday, October 26, 2011 at Mitchell Funeral Home, 7209 Glenwood Avenue, Raleigh, NC 27612. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 7:00 PM prior to the service. Interment will follow at Florida Memorial Gardens, Rockledge, FL.
