Bobbie Gail Deans

Bobbie Gail Deans, 83, passed away on October 7, 2018 at home at the Lodge of Wake Forest. Born on August 24, 1935 in Forsyth County; she was the daughter of the late Gurney Floyd Smith and Agnes Ferree Smith and wife of the late Lester Curtis Deans, Sr.

Bobbie graduated from Grainger High School in Kinston, NC and attended East Carolina College. She was retired from Office Manager at Calvary Presbyterian Church in Raleigh. Prior to that she was a Real Estate Broker with Prudential Real Estate. Bobbie loved her family and her granddaughters were the light of her life.

She is lovingly remembered by her daughter: Linda Williams (Tim Villa) of Youngsville; granddaughters: Wanda Evans of Youngsville and Laurie Evans (Neil Williams), of Wake Forest; brother: Rusty Smith; and other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Gurney Floyd Smith and Agnes Ferree Smith, husband: Lester Curtis Deans, Sr. son: Robert Fredrick Williams, Jr. and brother: Danny Smith.

Family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 4:30 – 6:30 pm at Mitchell Funeral Home (7209 Glenwood Avenue). Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, October 11, 2018 at 1:00 pm in the funeral home chapel. Burial will take place at Raleigh Memorial Park.
