It is with a heavy heart that we send this message to you. Sadly, we have learned about the passing of your beloved daughter Claire. There are simply no words that can adequately express what it is to suffer the loss of a child. We are bereaved parents who have experienced this same devastating loss and we want to reach out to you in behalf of our group: The Compassionate Friends of Wake County (tcfwake.com). We are a non-profit and non-denominational support group that consists solely of parents who have lost children of all ages and all causes. We welcome everyone- our purpose is to listen, share and give support. Our group is part of the worldwide organization: The Compassionate Friends (compassionatefriends.org). We became friends with Mrs. Healy when my daughter had her as a history teacher at Ligon Middle School. She was a fun, engaging, and supportive teacher who valued each student. We pray her family finds comfort in the knowledge and that her spirit lives on in the lives of many that she impacted and that those who touched her are praying for you.

We are saddened to learn of the passing of Beth, but grateful for her service to our nation with the Peace Corps in Lesotho.

My heart hurts, but your beautiful soul lives on. Our last words to each other were I love you-it gives me peace to know that you knew how much you mean to me. I will tell our children about all the fun we had and the truly amazing person you were. I am so blessed to have had you in my life. Love you always my dear friend.

 The world has lost a kind and beautiful soul, and will be a lesser place because of it.  As we struggle to make sense of this loss, we must remember all the lives that Beth has touched as a wife, mother, daughter, teacher and dear friend.  We are all better for having known her.

Beth was my best friend my soulmate my wife and an amazing mommy to our daughter. Beth you will not be forgotten. You have touched so many lives on a world wide scale. We will love you forever. Si and Chloe. Xxx

My heart sank after hearing the news of Ms. Healy's passing. I still to this day think about the lessons I gained from her class. She was truly one of a kind. Thank you Ms. Healy for inspiring me to learn beyond my comfort zone. You were one of a kind. I send my love to her family and friends during this difficult time.

I am so saddened about Ms. Healy's passing. I had her my 7th grade year at Ligon and I loved her class. I met two of my best friends in her class and I have great memories. She is such a sweet soul and you can truly tell she loved teaching. I will always remember her classes and how hard she tried to make us enjoy class and not just study and take a test. To Ms. Healy's family, I am so sorry for your loss and you are all in my thoughts  and prayers.

Our hearts are saddened by the news that Beth is no longer in the same world. Her battle here on earth is over and she will be missed greatly.  Life is to be lived; celebrated, and I believe she did that everyday!  She was an amazing women and I wish I had gotten to know her better.  She loved Chloe and as a mom, I'm sure that LOVE is what kept her here a little longer.  I pray that Chloe knows how much her mother cherished her and that she will remember her mother to be a fun, loving, kind, strong and courageous person.  We are here Simon and Chloe, to help whenever, however we can.  Our neighborhood is like a family and families take care of one another. Beth Healy was Ms. Lengefeld the day I met her on my very first day at Neal Middle. She was a first year teacher and I was new to the world of middle school. She was a kind face. She had encouraging words when the days were hard and she always let us know when we were doing a great job. She never lacked spirit and love. Im 26 now and Ive never lost touch with Beth. I couldnt, as she had such a large impact on my life and I truly loved her so much. Beth, your light will shine through every person youve ever met. My prayers are with Simon, Chloe, and the Lengefeld/Healy families. Peace be with you. 

Simon, It's so hard for us to imagine that Beth is gone. It doesn't seem real. We just don't have enough words to tell you how sorry we are for your loss of your wonderful, loving wife and dear Mom to Chloe. We are here if you need us.

I am so saddened to hear that Beth is no longer with us. I was a colleague of Beth's at Ligon Middle school years back and loved the time that she and a colleague and his wife made it our to our Hideaway cottage on Hyco Lake.  She was so happy and always such a happy person! Beth's enthusiasm, joy, and smile will always be remembered. My heart aches, and I send my thoughts and prayers to her family and friends. May her positivity, her love and His love help to sustain you.
