Ben Person Trevathan Sr.

Ben was born May 27, 1924 in Wilson, NC to the late Thomas Trevathan and Ona Davis Trevathan. He was a WWII veteran of the US Army and was a maintenance engineer with Rex Hospital retiring in 1986. Ben was a member of Mount Olivet Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by three sisters; and 9 brothers.

Ben is survived by his wife of 57 years, Graziella P. Trevathan; daughters, Connie Lawrence and her husband, Donald of Dunn; Barbara Trevathan of Raleigh; and Cindy Ward and her husband, Mike of Oxford; son, Ben P. Trevathan, Jr. and his wife, Sabrina of Raleigh; 4 grandchildren, Chris Lawrence; Michael Lawrence; Whitney Cox; and Emmalei Trevathan; and 1 great grandchild, Will Lawrence.

A memorial service will be held 5:00 pm Thursday, December 15, 2011 at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home, 1701 E. Millbrook Road, Raleigh, NC 27609. The family will receive friends 4:00 – 5:00 pm prior to the service at the funeral home.
