Anne Dillard Ferguson, 77, passed away on March 14, 2017 at Elmcroft of Northridge. Born on October 25, 1939 in Raleigh; she was the daughter of the late Robert Lee Dillard and Alice Ferrell Dillard and sister of the late Willie Daniel and Phyllis Black.
Anne was an active member of Ebenezer Community Baptist Church and was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
She is remembered by her husband of 58 years: Donald Ferguson; two children: Mike Ferguson, of Lexington, NC and Hope and Eddie Morton, of Raleigh; four grandchildren: Chris Morton, Daniel and Jenn Ferguson, Alexis and Trey Hunter, and Ashlyn and Chris Moore; three great-grandchildren; two brothers-in-law: Ralph Daniel, of Youngsville, NC and Steve Black, of Suffolk, VA; and other family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 18th from 1-2 pm at the Mausoleum Chapel of Raleigh Memorial Park (7501 Glenwood Avenue), with Funeral Services, officiated by Rev. Larry Andrews, to begin at 2 pm. Musical selections will be performed by members of the Andrews Family during the service. Burial will follow the service with Tim Ross, Barry Cross, Charles Taylor, Rob Wiggins, Brandon Taylor, Bryan Poer and Patrick Ferguson serving as pallbearers.
