Alice J. Zarzar, 77, passed away peacefully on Wednesday surrounded by her family. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M. at North Haven Church, 6620 Six Forks Road, Raleigh, on Saturday, January 26th followed by a private family burial. The family will receive friends before the funeral service at the church between 11:00am and 1:00pm.
Surviving: son, Issa J. Zarzar of Raleigh; daughter, Anita Zarzar of Nokesville, VA; daughter, Sophia Zarzar Payne of Wake Forest; brothers, Marco and Alfonso Samour of Miami; sisters, Esperanza Bendek of El Salvador; Laila Baddour from Phoenix, AZ; and Norma Perez also of Miami; eight grandchildren and two step grandchildren and three great grandchildren and one step great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband Jack P. Zarzar and other relatives.
