I am shocked to hear of your passing. I do not know what to say except that the Lord giveth , the Lord taketh away. Our lives and times are in His hands. After life’s struggles you are at peace at last in the bosom of God. Rest in peace in the glory of God.

My deepest condolences to the family.  Gloria was more than a trusted  colleague but also a friend for the past 17 years. 

I enjoyed our conversation about the growth and experiences of our children. She may not have recognized it but my weekly trips to her house while we were remote were always uplifting and a welcome break from the world around us.   

As previously mentioned, her dedication and professionalism allowed me to have a level of trust that cannot be duplicated. Her presence and knowledge was known to all and the staff miss her dearly. 

I will always remember Gloria as a woman of faith, a woman of substance and  a woman of high character.  It’s a blessing to have known her and I pray that her soul is at rest knowing that she lived a life well done.

As founder and executive director of Community Mediation Services Gloria was an extraordinary employee.  Her work was impeccable, her intelligence and ability to work as a collaborator made it a joy to have her as one of the most critical people in the agency.  But most of all her integrity and values as a human being made everyone around her better and more committed to the work we were doing.

Throughout my time with her she spoke so lovingly of her children and how much she admired the way they were living their lives. 

She is a loss to many  but will be a memory of a woman devoted to living the values she believed.

Indeed, I await your  awakening cos you never said goodbye the last time you came to Nigeria for mama's funeral.
