We gather to celebrate the life of Edner Fritz Beljous who on Sunday, November 24th 2019 passed from this earth to be in the eternal presence of his Lord and Savior. Edner Beljous (who was also affectionately called Fito) is the son of the late Ramonde and Arencia Beljous. He was born on August 24, 1942 in Bizonton, Haiti. In his early twenties Edner migrated to Brooklyn, New York to join his closest cousin Guillame Celariste in hopes of establishing a fulfilling career, a prosperous future, and a loving family. In the 1970s Edner became a member of the Free Mason and remained an active member until his illness became immobilizing. In 1978, Edner met Yolene Napoleon. The two married in April of 1979. Edner loved family, music, and helping others. He was always considered as everyone’s father due to the love and nurturing spirit he exuded. Many describe him as caring, sweet, funny, loving, dependable and giving. Edner can best be described as someone who cared very much for others and their well-being. He was an active father in his children’s lives, the children of his extended family, and an active member in the community. Edner’s loved ones include his wife, Yolene Beljous, son Patrick, daughter Melissa, son-in-law Wayne, granddaughters London and Kieran, and his extended family and many close friends.
