Russ Alan Roeser, 53, passed away on Wednesday, June 28th, 2017 at his home. Born April 18th, 1964 in Tacoma to parents Marlowe and Diane Roeser. Russ was a fun loving family man who enjoyed baseball, music, and spending time with loved ones. Russ graduated from Rogers High school in 1982 and worked as a sales representative for Food Service of America for over 30 years. Russ was proud to host teams in the WIAA High School State Basketball tournaments. For over 40 years the Roeser family have owned and operated Marlowe's Concession stand at the Puyallup Fair. Besides his family and friends, baseball was another great love of his life. Playing on teams every season and spending time coaching for Summit Parkland Youth Association (SPYA). He is well known and loved for being "Coach Russ" to many. He also bowled on leagues throughout Tacoma. Above all else Russ was most proud of his family. Russ married the love of his life, Bonnie, 27 years ago, in 1990. Russ will be deeply missed by his three children, Travis, Kelsie, and Nicholas; his sister Judi Moore (Wade), nephews Justin, Jared, Wade Jr., and John. Russ will be missed by his close friends, and the many friends he worked closely with in the food service industry. Russ is preceded in death by his parents Marlowe and Diane Roeser. The celebration of life will be held at Pioneer Park Pavilion 330 S. Meridian, Puyallup, WA 98371 on July 10th at 2:00 p.m.
