Jacob Melvin Korum departed this earth bound for Heaven on September 8, 2015. He was born on May 2, 1978, 16 months after his older brother Billy and followed by his 2 younger brothers Michael and Luke. His parents Bill and Debbie Korum knew from the beginning that they were in for a wild ride. He was born with an adventuresome spirit which catapulted him on a fearless journey through life. He appreciated and reveled in nature and loved the outdoors. Jacob was blessed with two incredible sons. Kaden and Jaxon, the loves of his life. Their mother Jennifer will have lots of help keeping his legacy alive from his large, loving family and caring circle of friends. We will have stories galore about Jake which include words describing him such as generous, loyal, motivational, kind, encouraging, brave, funny and brilliant. Some of his many accomplishments are earning his A.A. degree from Pierce College, learning the car business, becoming fluent in Spanish and mastering the stock market. There will be a Celebration of his life on Thursday, Sept. 24 at 11:00 am at Bethany Baptist Church in Puyallup. Jacob will be laid to rest in Woodbine Cemetery in Puyallup. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the charity of your choice. We will always love you, sweet Jake, and never ever forget you. But we do reluctantly release you.
