Agnes E. Moser Born to Frank and Mary Moser on January 27th, 1919 in Sumner, WA; passed away on March 15th, 2012 at the age of 93. She was one of 9 children. She graduated from Sumner High School and From Central Washington in 1942, where she received her teaching credentials in Education. She was a life-long member of the Swiss Ladies Society of Tacoma, WA, the Swiss Enzian Ladies Choir, the Washington Teachers Association, and a member of St. Andrew Catholic Church in Sumner, where she played the organ for many years. Agnes loved teaching and her Swiss heritage, and enjoyed being part of her families Swiss Orchestra, playing at many Swiss dances through the years. For the last ten years she resided at Stafford Suites in Sumner, and enjoyed entertaining the residents with her Swiss tunes. She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews and will be dearly missed. A celebration of Agnes's life will be held at St. Andrew Catholic Church in Sumner on Thursday, March 22nd at 11:00am. Rosary to be at Powers Funeral Home in Puyallup on Wednesday evening at 7:00pm. A special note of appreciation to the caregivers at Stafford Suites and the Franciscan Hospice and Palliative Care Organization for their loving and compassionate care for Agnes in her final days. If you wish, donations may be made in Agnes' name to the Franciscan Hospice Association or the Swiss Enzian Ladies Choir.
