Thomas Loyd Norwood

He was the last of a family of 15 children. He was also preceded in death by his parents, Marion Fred Norwood and Lillian Pearl Warren Norwood, and several nieces and nephews.

He grew up in Minor Hill, TN, and graduated from Minor Hill high school in 1950.

He spent 28 years in the US Air Force and also retired from the Union Pacific Railroad after 14 years.

He is Survived by his wife of 61 years, Marian Williams Norwood from Pulaski, TN, three sons, Tom Norwood II & wife Leisha Lawlis Norwood of Arlington, TX, Ronnie Norwood of Folsom, CA, and Doug Norwood & wife Kathy Crow Norwood of Garden Valley, CA, seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until the Funeral Service begins at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, September 29, 2017. Burial to follow at Norwood Cemetery in Minor Hill.
