He was born in Pulaski, TN, on October 20, 1938, and a retired Coach and Teacher with the Giles County School system. He was preceded in death by his parents, Herman Woodrow and Mary Helen Harwell Coble, his wife, Emma Lee Coble, his brother, Walter Mylen Coble, his infant grandson, Phillip Coble, his nephew, Jonathan Owens, and his brothers-in-law, M. L. Clifton and Ray (Mopar) Owens.
Visitation will be on Friday, March 12, 2021, from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Carr & Erwin Funeral Home, where Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, March 13, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. Burial to follow in Giles Memory Gardens.
Survivors include his wife, Willa Dean Coble, Pulaski, his son, Keith Coble and wife Janet of Pulaski, his daughter, Karen Young of Pulaski, his brother, Ray Coble and Judy of Huntsville, AL, his sisters, Peggy Clifton of Nashville, and Nancy Owens of Pulaski, his grandchildren, Jacki Lancaster, Kayla Garvin, Trent Coble, Clint Coble, and Hunter Young, his great grandchildren, Allee Lancaster, Owen Coble, and Dawson Coble.
