Mary Jane Risner

Mrs. Risner, born February 9, 1930 in Carnegie, Pennsylvania, was the daughter of the late police Chief Ira “Ike” Irving and Anna McAdo Irving. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Sgt. Dave Risner, Jr., son Sgt. Clayton Risner of the US Army Special Forces, brother Tom Irving a Navy War Veteran, and sister Linda Irving Duplissey.

Visitation will be Thursday May 12, 2011 from 11 a.m. till 1 p.m. at Liberty Hill Baptist Church with memorial service to follow. Burial will be in Liberty Hill Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to Susan G. Coleman Breast Cancer Fund or to the Wounded Warrior Project at 4899 Belfort Road, Suite 300, Jacksonville, Fl. 32256.

Survivors include son Sgt. Mike Risner of the US Army Special Forces and wife Patti of Ethridge, daughters Rosemary Jenkins and husband Jimmy of Ethridge, Loi Risner of Alabama, brother John Irving and wife Doris of Lincoln Park, Michigan, six grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and two great great grandchild.
