Jonathan was born in Glens Falls, NY on April 2, 1952 to James and Jane Berrigan VanDoran. He was a devoted delivery driver for Giles County Furniture until he retired and was a member of the First Baptist Church. Jonathan had a love of fishing, camping, playing cards and games (especially Yahtzee). He is preceded in death by his parents; son Jon Paul VanDoran; sisters Eileen Courville and Patricia Ann Burch; brothers James VanDoran and Phillip VanDoran.
Visitation will be from 1-2 PM on Sunday November 24, 2024 at Carr and Erwin Funeral Home with the Funeral Service following at 2pm. Interment will be in Maplewood Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Jon VanDoran Mechanical Engineering Scholarship Endowment Fund at TTU Foundation PO Box 1915 Cookeville, TN 38505.
Jonathan is survived by his wife Christina VanDoran of Pulaski; daughter Brittany Polly (Will), 2 special grandchildren Harper and William Polly all of Thompson Station; family friend Lance Dodson of Nashville; 3 daughters, 5 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews all of NY; and brother in law Ronnie Burch of Glens Falls, NY.
