James Paul Young, age 79, died Sunday April 30, 2017 at Southern TN Regional Health System in Pulaski.
A Giles county native, he was born in the Pisgah community and son of the late Grady Lexie and Esther Ann Montgomery Young. He was also preceded in death by a double first cousin, Martha Ann Dunnavant.
Mr. Young was a self-employed farmer and carpenter.
Visitation will be Tuesday May 2, 2017 from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Carr & Erwin Funeral Home where Funeral Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 3, 2017. Burial will follow in Mt. Pisgah Cemetery
Mr. Young is survived by his wife Mary Ann Young, his sons Mike (Cindy) Young of the Bodenham Community, Doug (Kim) Young of the Powder Mill Hill Community, Gregg (Tonya) Young of the Pisgah Community and Jon (Traci) Young of the Pisgah Community, 11 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren.
