Frances Irene Buckner

Frances Buckner was born in Pulaski, TN on August 16, 1936 to Earl and Martha Watts Womble. Frances loved her family with all she had and dedicated her entire life to creating a wonder life for them by being a homemaker, which is no easy feat. In her spare time she also enjoyed talking on the phone, watching TV, and was a member of the Rock Springs Baptist Church. Frances is preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband of 61 years Hughie W. Buckner; daughter Donna Gail Buckner; brothers Delano and EC Womble; and sister Doris Wright.

Visitation will be Friday November 8, 2024 from 5-8pm at Carr and Erwin Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held 11am Saturday November 9, 2024 at Carr and Erwin Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery.

Frances is survived by her son Gary Buckner (Anita) of Pulaski; daughters Maxine Hilliard of Hendersonville, and Vonda Nivens (Dondi) of Gallatin; brother Randy Womble (Amy) of Pulaski; sister Pauline Gist of Lawrenceburg; grandchildren Jennifer Brindley (Ryan) and Joshua Hilliard; and great grandchildren Emma and Sam Brindley.
