Anna Marie Oakley

Anna Marie Oakley, age 35 answered God’s call for her to come home on December 4, 2021. She passed away at Marshall Medical Center with her mother by her side. Anna was born to Rickey Oakley and Freda McCowan Oakley on February 6, 1986 in Pulaski, TN.

Anna was a former resident of Pulaski, TN and most recently resided in Lewisburg, TN.

She attended Minor Hill School and graduated from Giles County High School. Anna was an employee of Highly Marelli in Shelbyville, TN and she loved her job and co-workers.

She attended East Commerce Baptist Church in Lewisburg, TN.

Anna was preceded in death by her grandparents, George Evan Oakley and Bertie Lee Weldon Oakley of Prospect, TN and Douglas McCowan and Katherine Stevenson McCowan of Bunker Hill-Bryson, TN.

Survivors include, father, Rickey Warren Oakley, mother, Freda McCowan Oakley, and brother George Douglas Oakley. Several nieces and many family members and friends also survive.

Anna always has a smile on her face and was such a joy to be around. She was very loving. Anna put others first and never missed wishing someone a “Happy Birthday”. She loved taking pictures of family and friends and she truly loved traveling and going to new places and meeting new people including singers and celebrities. She enjoyed going on vacation with her family.

Anna loved the Lord and His light shined through her. Although she will be greatly missed by many friends and family, God called her home to her eternal home and we know she is rejoicing in heaven.

Visitation will be on Sunday, December 12, 2021, from 10 AM until funeral time at 2 PM at the Carr & Erwin Funeral Home, Tom Oakley officiating, burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.
