William "Bill" Robert Simmons II

William “Bill” Robert Simmons II, 64, passed away July 20, 2023 in Pueblo, Colorado. He was the husband of Beverly Kaye Simmons; they shared 46 years of partnership and 42 years of marriage together. Born in Fort Knox, Kentucky, he was the son of William “Bill” Robert Simmons and Mary Katherine Gavin Simmons. He attended St. Andrew’s High School in Orlando, Florida. Bill worked at Amentum as the assistant maintenance manager for 25 years.

He was a member of the Central Baptist Church, and enjoyed racing, fishing, his family and friends. He will be remembered for his humor, mentorship, loyalty, and willingness to help others.

Bill is survived by his loving wife Beverly Kaye Simmons; children William “Bill” Robert Simmons III (Heather Elise Simmons) and Katherine Elizabeth Simmons; grandchildren William “Will” Robert Simmons IV, Laura Lea and Lindsay Ray Hansen, Edith (Bill) Terry, Laura (Tom) Kauffman, Jessica (Levi) Vincent, Jeremiah “Buck” Moore, and Barbara Mullins.

Bill will be laid to rest in Macedonia Cemetery, in Rison, Arkansas, dates to be determined.
