Twila Dawn Donahue, 49, born January 18, 1965 in Pueblo, CO to the union of Evelyn and Clyde Donahue and passed away after a lengthy illness and cancer on June 6, 2014. Survived by her aunts and uncles, Linda (Joe) Diamond (guardian) and Ron (Norma) Urban as well as numerous cousins. Preceded in death by her parents. Twila was born with a cyst on her brain and had to it removed when she was 3 months old and this left her with a disability. Twila stayed at home with her mom Evelyn until her passing in 2001. The last few years she has been in a staff home with Pueblo Community Connection. She received such wonderful care and many of the staff became Twila’s extended family. She loved going for outings, participating in Special Olympics and enjoyed participating in activities provided by PCC. Twila also loved movies, watching TV., music and people. She said “Yea” to almost everything unless she really meant no. She will be remembered for her smile and her laugh. She was very special and will be dearly missed.
