Son of Gwen McCranie, younger brother of Tyler Bright, older brother to Lyle Bright and JJ Smith, peacefully passed away during the sunset of Friday, February 10, 2012.
Ryan was greeted in Heaven by his Great Grandfather Spencer Clinkscales, Grandmother Barbara Bright, Grandfather Lee McCranie, Pawpa Mark Brasher and Great Uncle Willie Elders.
His family remaining to miss his smile is Great Grandmothers Angie Clinkscales and Juanita Warner. Grandmothers Kathy Brasher, Donna Brookhart, his Grandfather Pawpaw Frank Michael Bright, Great Aunt Brenda Elders. Very special Uncles, Kenneth Bright, Spencer McCranie, and David McCranie. His devoted Aunts, Tracy McCranie and Becky McCranie. His dear cousins Hannah and Elijah Bright and Kenna Legnard. Cousins Greg and Lynn Whipple and daughter Lauren. Many South Carolina cousins.
His one and only niece and namesake Abigail Ryan McCranie and her mom, Katie.
Those extended loved ones he adored in his home states of South Carolina and Georgia. Amy Tanner and family, Sandra Miller and family. MeeMaw and Papaw Miller, Lin Lee and her family. His best buddy, first grade teacher Don Garrett and his wife Karen. Crystal (sis) and her sisters.
The family that loved him in Colorado Grandma and Grandpa Judy and John Peachee. Michelle and Andy Lewis, best friends forever. Sam and Neva Quintana brother and sister in Christ, we will meet again. Sonny Sandoval, POD crew and the Whosoever crew, in God we love. His long time classmate Cassidy and her son, also Ryan’s name sake, Bently Ryan Alexandar Crump (little guy).
Ryan asked the following to be said, in his words: “Those who flew in to be with my Mom, stopped in to give hugs, cook, and kiss me. I knew you were here. Thanks Karen with Dream Weavers ( I loved my trip), Belva, Brandi, Renee, Donna, Jan, Nicole, everyone. I love you so much and am blessed for you to be a part of my life, thanks to everyone who came by to take care of me, my mom, and my brothers. Sarah Woods I heard you singing to me, thank you for the little party. I am in every butterfly you see and I am ok” Special thanks to St. Mary-Corwin Medical Center, Sangre de Cristo Hospice, Allen Lynch, Dr. Sloan, Jake and Noel.
A memorial service honoring Ryan will be held Tuesday, February 14, 2012, at 3:00pm. Broadway Christian Church, 206 Broadway Avenue, Pueblo, CO 81004.
