

Regina was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend throughout her life. She was also a devout Christian and prayer warrior for her family and loved ones. She would embark God’s wisdom into anyone who would cross her path. Even in her last days, she often ministered and encouraged nurses and medical providers to love the Lord. She left a legacy of love that will carry on for many generations. She enjoyed reading the Bible, creating hilarious games for holiday parties, watching her favorite pastors on television, and spending time talking about life experiences, which included living through the Great Depression while wearing potato sack dresses. Her humor, wisdom, unconditional love, and strength will always be remembered.
She is survived by her 4 children: Christine Atkinson, Steve Franson, Mark Franson, and John Franson, Her 6 granddaughters: Teresa Williams, Angela (Steve) Helmke, Stephanie (Jerome) Kukowski, Christina (Clayton) Findley, Kelly (Zach) Schaible, and Aimee Franson. In addition to 8 great grandchildren, several nieces, and nephews as well as her best Friend Nettie Grizzle.
Preceding in death include the following but not limited to: Arley Franson (husband); Louis and Mary Zysk (parents); Helen Duffield (sister), Mary Cordle (sister), and Louise Wall (sister); Ed Atkinson (son-in -law); Charie Franson (daughter-in-law) and Debra Franson (daughter-in-law).
There will not be a formal service. The family will have a small gathering for prayer at 11:00 AM on March 18, 2022 at her gravesite with Pastor Don Sniff. The gathering will be held at Imperial Memorial Gardens 5450 Hwy 78 West, Pueblo, CO (Location: Last Supper, Space: 1, Lot 589).
