He was proceeded in death by his parents, William Earl and Genevar DeLeal. Brother John DeLeal, son Benjamin DeLeal, daughter Amy DeLeal, step-daughter Jennifer Miller and step-son Joseph Miller.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara, of 33 years, his son Lt Cornel William (Katherine), brothers, William (Linda), James (Kathy), Robert , and sisters Nancy, and Joann (Rick). Grandchildren, Caroline, Cecilia, Milo, and Penny, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Ray served in the United States Marine Corp as a Gunnery Sgt. for 9 years. He is a Vietnam veteran and served two tours of duty. Ray is a member of VFW and The American Legion. He worked for the Department of Corrections at numerous facilities and retired after thirty years as Captain.
Ray loved to travel with his wife Barbara and they went on many adventures including many cruises and a trip to Europe. Ray will be interred at Jefferson Barrecks National Cemetery in St. Louis, MO.
