Miguel Baca has peacefully returned to his eternal love and wife of almost 70 years, Margaret, on Oct. 18, 2016. Their love story was the epitome of true romance as he missed “Mom” every day of his life without her. As the last survivor of his immediate Baca family, his immense love for his family continues his legacy through their four children: Carol*, Michael, Lorraine* and Monica (Curtis); their children: Greg and Lise Rodriguez*, Kellie (Ryan) Hansen, Robert Martinez, Deldrea (Jason) Martinez, Gina and Phillip Hernandez, Michael Baca*, Stormie (Todd) Swope, Jennifer (Jared) Garbiso Hall and Gilbert Garbiso. His great-grandchildren were the apple of his eye, Anastasia and Styles Rodriguez; Gabriel Rodriguez, Sunny and Daniel Maes; Madison Benson, Athena Martinez, Jason, Isabel and David Martinez, James Hernandez, Josie and Nick Castro, Phillip and Minroe Hernandez, Fisher and Grace Swope; and Carter, Cohen and Camden Hall; and very special niece, Ida Baca. Miguel was a devout Catholic and longtime member of Holy Family. The rosary will be at 6 p.m., Oct. 25. Funeral Mass, 11 a.m., on Oct. 26.
