Michael John Lisac II was born October 17, 1931, in Walsenburg, CO to Michael and Mildred Lisac. Passed away December 4, 2020 at the age of 89 of natural causes. Married Josephine Corsentino in 1951. He graduated from St. Mary High School in 1949. He retired from CF&I, as a General Foreman of Steel Production Maintenance after 34 years of service. He was a life member of Elks Lodge No. 90, the Eagles Aerie 145 and St. Joseph’s Parish. The most enjoyable times he spent were the times he spent big game hunting and fishing with his sons at the cabin in South Fork, that was built in the 1960’s, and later in life, his time spent there or anywhere with the grandchildren and great grandchildren. He called those times “priceless”. He and Josephine traveled abroad after their retirement. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family, preceded in death by his parents, five sisters and one brother.
Josephine Joan Lisac was born on February 9, 1933, in Walsenburg, CO to Robert and Ann Corsentino. Passed away December 6, 2020 at the age of 87 also from natural causes. Married Michael John Lisac II in 1951. She graduated from Huerfano County High School in 1951. She retired from School Dist. 70 food service after 25 years. She was a member of the St. Joseph Parish. Her most enjoyable times she spent were the times at their cabin in South Fork, while her husband, four sons, later grandchildren and great grandchildren hunted and fished. She enjoyed traveling the states, especially Laughlin and in retirement traveling abroad. Preceded in death by her parents, two brothers Joe and Bob Corsentino and sister Nell Lee. Survived by Sylvia Dionese, Henrietta Hobbs, Barbara Sue Feddle, sister-in-law Lucille Corsentino and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Mike and Josephine were married for 69 years and together for 71 years. The life they lived was a true love story. They never left one another’s side. Their lives were celebrated together on December 11, 2020. Survived by their four sons, Michael III (Michelle), David (Betty), Frank (Ann), and Paul (Sandy); 8 Grandchildren, Wade (Timmi-Jo) Lisac, Brad (Michelle) Lisac, Leann (Pat) Noga, David (Kim) Lisac, Brian (Sara) Lisac, Chris (Haley) Lisac, AJ (Colby) Amato, and Gianna (Sam) Lisac; 19 great grandchildren, Lannie-Jo, Wade, Landri, Capreese, Jace, Patrick, Michael, Kayle, Jacob, Joseph, Jagger, Jackson, Charlie Mae, Chase, Kenna, Charlee, Brekken, Austin and Jameson.
