Makayla Ellen Gallegos

It is with great sadness that the family of Makayla Gallegos announces that she went to be with our Lord on the morning of September 10th. Makayla is a near lifelong resident of Pueblo Colorado. She was a single mother of four-year-old boy Zayden and a 4.0 student approaching graduation at Pueblo Community College. Makayla was preceded in death by her father Victor Shane Gallegos of Mancos, CO and God mother Sabrena Rebeterano of Pueblo, CO. Makayla is survived by her 4-year-old son Zayden of Pueblo, mother Amanda Gallegos of Pueblo, grandmother Ellen Hegdal of Pueblo, grandparents Randy and Sherry Chaloupek of Russellville, MO, grandfather Victor C. Gallegos of Mancos, Romelia Ruiz of Mancos, CO, her Godfather Mace Rebeterano (Deidra) of Pueblo, CO, God sisters Selena, Nyssa, Macey, and Elianna, aunts, cousins and numerous amazing friends. In lieu flowers, there is a Go-Fund-Me account set up for funeral expenses and her baby boy Zayden.

The family will be hosting a memorial dinner on Monday September 19 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at The Cathedral of the Sacred Heart Hall.

Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, September 20 at 9:30am at The Cathedral of the Sacred Heart. Most importantly, we ask for prayers, as this is such a tragic loss.
