Lucy C. Trujillo

Age 85

Lucy C Trujillo passed away on Monday September 11, 2023, in Pueblo.She was born on March 24, 1938 in Pagosa Springs, Colo. Lucy enjoyed being a military housewife as she traveled with Joe during his Military career. Once settled in Pueblo Colorado you would find Lucy outside tending to her roses or inside cooking up a storm. If you stopped by to say hello, I guarantee you would leave with a full belly! She also loved to bake; her specialty was Lemon Meringue pie. Lucy attended mass regularly at Holy Family and looked forward to the weekends when she and Joe could enjoy eating out and sneak in some shopping. Lucy’s exercise was mostly dancing to the music of Elvis and Tom Jones, most of the kids and grandkids can attest to that.

Lucy was preceded in death by her beloved husband Joe F Trujillo in 2014. and her son Michael Joe in 1959.

She is survived by her children JoAnn (Paul) Munoz, Rosemary (Ronnie) Rodriguez, Diana Trujillo, and Tanya Trujillo; as well as grandchildren, Marenda Trujillo, Paul Anthony Munoz, Justin Munoz, Janelle (Zach) Zerfas, Kalie Lamb, Kyle Lamb, Kenneth Lamb, Bijou Lamb, Ashley (Jared) Soto, Shelby Rodriguez, Dakota Porth, Tyler Trujillo; Great grand kids, Alicia Factor, Jacob Kaiser, Joshua (Krystal) Gutheire, Paulie Munoz, Emileo Olivas, Jaydon Olivas, Zyanya Soto, Jared Soto jr, Joaquin Soto, Yavin Rodriguez, Yoshi Rodriguez, Kaia Porath, Koda Porath, Landon Porath, Adrian Trujillo, and Mia Trujillo; Great Great Grandkids’, Cooper General.

Lucy is at peace with her husband Joe; together they will watch over their family.
