John B. (Jack) Munn, 82, died Sept. 19, 2014, at the Sangre de Cristo Hospice, after a lengthy illness. Born Nov. 25, 1931, in Iron Mountain, Mich., to Walter W. and Nedene (LaPointe) Munn. They moved to Pueblo in 1937. He attended Centennial High School, graduating in 1950. He studied at Pueblo College in 1950 until he came down with poliomyelitis (polio virus) in 1951. Predeceased by his parents; brothers, Walter D. Munn and William J. Munn and his first wife, Betty J. Winters Munn. Survived by sister, Jeanne Munn (Tom) Hickman; daughters, Dianne Munn Greever (Mike Berry), Debbie Munn (Bruce) Barham, and Denise Munn (Gary) Chavez; grandchildren, Shawna Greever (James) Griego and Christy Barham; great-grandchildren, Aubrey and Emma Griego; several nieces and nephews; sisters-in-law, Carol Munn, Joanne Munn and Joan Wyer; and brother-in-law, Bud (Esther) Winters. Also survived by his wife and caregiver of nearly eight years, Charlotte A. Munn; and her family, Deborah Hines, J. Roger (Patty) Hines, Rebecca (Eddie) Sandrowski, Paul Hines and John R, Hines. Jack worked for 17 years for Coors Brewery in Golden before starting his own handyman/sprinkler service, “Jack of Almost All.” Funeral Mass, 10 a.m. Monday, Sept. 22, at Cathedral of the Sacred Heart. Cremation to follow at a later date. Donations in Jack’s honor may be made to the Sangre de Cristo Hospice.
